After upgrading to iOS 6.1 for my iPad Mini and iPad 3, I cannot access previously downloaded magazine subscriptions like New Yorker when WiFi is off. When I click on a magazine when WiFi is off or unavailable a screen appears with the magazine name and then it  jumps back to the prior main newsstand display. No problems with newspaper subscriptions - only magazines. Tried power on/off and Settings/Reset many times but problem persists. Please help.

I called The New Yorker (I think it was Fri the 8th or Saturday the 9th) about this same issue.I was told there was an issue with the 6.1 update where the Adobe software (which produces all the CondeNaste mags) causes a "loop" in iOS when not connected to the internet. Supposedly they will have the problem fixed in a couple of days.    Meanwhile quite annoying if you have only a wifi iPad.

Thank you. I guess we will have to wait for Conde Nast to fix the bug.
