Cinema Display Flicker on MBP via Thunderbolt

Hi, this link describes my problem 100% accurately: http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/19/some-thunderbolt-macbook-pros-causing-flicker -on-cinema-displays/ Any solution? I'm not having the money to buy a new MBP or a Cinema Display (if some of them get broken), but I need to work with an external screen. Also, there is no qualified Apple support in Argentina who can solve this issue.
