I have downloaded V11 but it does not serve my needs and I am no longer using it. I need to revert to V10.7 which had DJ which played random music from my library and could be refreshed if my mood changed. V11 does not do this (a retrograde step?) and therefore I no longer use what was a valued programme. Can anyone tell me how to get back to the earlier version so I can enjoy iTunes again?

Uninstall itunes and install the old version

You will also need to recover the backup library made when you updated.

you can get 11 to look much like 10
ALT shows the menu bar temporarily
CTRL+B show/hide menu bar
CTRL+S show/hide side bar
CTRL+/ show/hide status bar
To make search more like it was, click on magnifying glass in search bar and uncheck "search entire library"
You can also make a smart play list that works much like iTunes DJ

I omitted to say the the playlist is played with shuffle on, but I am sure you realized that.
