The exception is internet tethering - if provided by your carrier.
What are you trying to do?

It shows on my MacBook Pro that it's paired but not connected.
Your help is greatly appreciated.:)

-make sure that bluetooth is on for both iphone and macbook
-make sure that both are discoverable
-On the macbook go to system preferences ->network->click on bluetooth pan-> make sure the device is your iphone-> click connect
