my iphone 4 is stuck with apple logo blinking on and off and when trying to restore i get cant be restored and then wont reconize my iphone what to do?
iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1, was trying to upgrade to 6.1
If iTunes doesn't want to recognize the iPhone, restart iTunes, plug in the USB end of the cable, then while holding the home button on the iPhone plug in the dock connector end of the cable. The iPhone will be in recovery mode and iTunes should then see it...proceed to the restore operation.
i did this but i get a couldn't restore and timed out then i get the blinking apple logo....now what?
The next step is to try and force it to the DFU Mode. If that doesn't work it may be time to visit the Apple store genius bar for their help.
here's what it says.......There was a problem downloading the software for the iphone The network connection timed out
i hold down the home button and power for 10 seconds then just the home button until i hear the ding on computer the phone seems to turn off but how do i know if it's in DFU mode it doesn't say anything in itunes
Try to reboot it using iBooty v2.3. It works on my iPhone.
During DFU mode, screen remains Black. When you connect it in iTunes , it is recognized as an iPhone in Recovery mode.
clea i did it but itx nawt working....😢 my phone"s screen struck at apple logo n it blink after sm tym again n again n my phone is still stuck wot i can do know any body can tell me plz....😟
Try putting it on dfu mode then do a hard reboot by pressing the home and power buttons at the same time. Wait for the apple logo to appear then let go and wait for a while.
