When I'm redialing a Toll free No. in India, iPhone is connecting USA

LG Customer care in India, Toll free contact number is: 18001809999

When I am dialling this number on my iPhone with help of KEYPAD, the numer is connecting to the right destination.

In Recent Called List this particular number is available the same as it was dialled with Keypad But whenever I am Re-dialing this number from Recent called list, it is connecting to USA and the number is displaying +1 (800) 180-9999

Because of this reason I can't SAVE this contact in my iPhone. Every time I'm using KEYPAD to dial and reach to the correct destination.

How to overcome this problem ?

Thanks.

So far there are 60 people have been viewed this topic but unfortunately no one replied...

Is that mean, this is a bug in iPhone and there is no solution yet.

Toll-free numbers like "1800180999" can not be SAVED in iPhone contact list...?

I can't understand why, iPhone is separating the original dialed number format (i.e. 10881809999) to another format (i.e. +1 (800) 180-9999). This behavior I have not observed in other cell phone manufacture.

At least someone reply, will it remain, as it is or there will be some solution.

Thanks.

First of all, there is no need to add ISD code of Country before Toll free number.

Still I tried calling +91 18001809999 (adding +91 before) but there was no destination of this call. Call got disconnected. Then I tried with 018001809999 (adding just a 0 before) it also did not work...

This workaround is not working. Please suggest, is there any other way?

Thanks.

I tried calling +91 80-01809999 but the call has reached a wrong destination. The Interactive voice response (IVR) says, " You have dialed a wrong number, please check the number and dial again ".

Then immediately I dialed the actual number 18001809999 and the call connects to the right place. So so far I have tried following numbers and the outcome is ZERO.

018001809999 (In this case, call simply just disconnect without IVR)

+91 18001809999 (In this case, call simply just disconnect without IVR)

+91 80-01809999 (IVR: You have dialed a wrong number, please check the number and dial again)

Is there any other way ....?

Thanks.
