So far there are 60 people have been viewed this topic but unfortunately no one replied...
Is that mean, this is a bug in iPhone and there is no solution yet.
Toll-free numbers like "1800180999" can not be SAVED in iPhone contact list...?
I can't understand why, iPhone is separating the original dialed number format (i.e. 10881809999) to another format (i.e. +1 (800) 180-9999). This behavior I have not observed in other cell phone manufacture.
At least someone reply, will it remain, as it is or there will be some solution.

I don't quite understand the problem but a way around this would be to add the international dialing code for India at the front. ie store your India number as; +91 1 8001809999. This should work.

First of all, there is no need to add ISD code of Country before Toll free number.
Still I tried calling +91 18001809999 (adding +91 before) but there was no destination of this call. Call got disconnected. Then I tried with 018001809999 (adding just a 0 before) it also did not work...
This workaround is not working. Please suggest, is there any other way?

Did you try, +91 8001809999? this might work.

I tried calling +91 80-01809999 but the call has reached a wrong destination. The Interactive voice response (IVR) says, " You have dialed a wrong number, please check the number and dial again ".
Then immediately I dialed the actual number 18001809999 and the call connects to the right place. So so far I have tried following numbers and the outcome is ZERO.
018001809999 (In this case, call simply just disconnect without IVR)
+91 18001809999 (In this case, call simply just disconnect without IVR)
+91 80-01809999 (IVR: You have dialed a wrong number, please check the number and dial again)
Is there any other way ....?

This should get resolved if you follow this as it worked for me.
I think the issue is with new dial assist feature in IOS6. Disable dial assist under Settings-> Phone

After a lot workout, yesterday night I had found the solution (i.e. Disabling Dial Assist). Today I thought to share this in the discussion portal and found your reply.
Anyway, thanks a lot Suresh....
