Why cant I connect my bluetooth (jawbone noiseAssasin) to my ipod 2g w/ 4.2.1

the bluetooth supports 2.1+ EDR, 2.0, 1.1, and 1.0, and its working bc it picks up on my phone just wont show up on ipod an would like any help plz!

iPod touch, iOS 4.2

Likely because the jawbone likely uses the Hands Free Profile (HGFP) which is ony supported by the 4G and later iPod touches As well as all iPhones and iPadn 2 and later).
