Why cant I connect my bluetooth (jawbone noiseAssasin) to my ipod 2g w/ 4.2.1

the bluetooth supports 2.1+ EDR, 2.0, 1.1, and 1.0, and its working bc it picks up on my phone just wont show up on ipod an would like any help plz!

iPod touch, iOS 4.2

Likely because the jawbone likely uses the Hands Free Profile (HGFP) which is ony supported by the 4G and later iPod touches As well as all iPhones and iPadn 2 and later).

For headphones only there are many available since headphones use the A2DP profile that the 2G supports. I do not know of headsets (included mic) that work with only the A2DP profile.
