i have tried over and over and over to restore this dam ipod and it says the same dam **** restore before it could be used in itune SOME ONE HELP

me now?????????????????????

ok so the ipod touch is on the screen that say connect to itune then i plug it in and it say recovery mode please restore it before it could be used in itune i click restore. it goes into recovery mode and say itunes is currently downloading software for ipod. last night i did this like 4 times and it pops right back up please restore your ipod before it could be used in itune right now i am at 33 mins i have been doing this for a while now... and it is fustrating.

Maybe:

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .


Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
