Can someone assist me and give me an answer on how to back up my Iphone 4 version IOS 4.2.6?
iPhone 4, iOS 4.2
Plug it in your computer.
Find the device in the left pane of iTunes.
Right click on it and choose "Backup".
NOTE: Backing up to a system where the iPhone has never been backed up before, may erase some existing data on the iPhone. READ ALL the warning messages before clicking OK.
However, backing up on a regular bases is a very good idea, as if anything happens to your iPhone, you can restore from the backup. You can even restore to a replacement iPhone, or if you upgrade to a newer iPhone, you can restore the new iPhone easily transferring all your data that has been backed up to the new device.
