macair firmware initiated per update instructions. went immediately to galaxy screen saver. never came back after over an hour later. Where to from here?
not really sure what OS is, but I was headed to get Mountain Lion. I suspect its about 10.6.

Thanks for the help. The whole update went through without any problem. Now going to update this puppy to Mountain Lion. Thx again. Take care.
Make a backup of your files before upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion. Also, check if your apps are supported > http://www.roaringapps.com
