Another RSS feed not updating on iTunes

Hey Team,

First, I'd like to extend a thank you to all of you who have helped others with issues on this board. I read through a lot of them, pretty cool thing you guys are doing!

Anyway, so I've successfully uploaded 2 podcasts to PodBean, and they showed up just fine in iTunes.

However, the issue is with this last episode we did. It was first uploaded on 02/03/2013. We waited a few days, but the feed never updated. So, we thought maybe we did something wrong/different, so we deleted the file, and re-uploaded it on 02/06/2013. Here, on 02/09/2013 still not showing up on our feed, although a few people who have subscribed to our podcast said it downloaded for them (even though it doesn't show in our list. Weird).

I emailed PodBean on 02/07/2013 and got the following response:

"I checked your account. It is fine. I verified your feed at feedvalidator.org :http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Flaughsbyprescription.podbean .com%2Ffeed. It is valid. You may wait for some time for iTunes to update your feed."

Was hoping somebody could do a little digging and see if anything jumps out at them that maybe hasn't been caught.

Thanks in advance!

When you add a new episode to your feed and upload it, it appears immediately for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the feed directly and the Store is not involved.

However because of the huge number of podcasts in the Store (thousands) the Store caches the feed and checks it for updates periodically. For this reason it usually takes 1-2 days for new episodes to appear in the Store: sometimes it can be less, and occasionally the whole process seems to get stuck and it can take several days.

Your 'missing' episodes were uploaded only on 7th February and today, so it's too soon to expect the latest one - the 7th Feb one should appear soon but the Store appears to have been going through one of its sticky patches so it may take a little longer than usual. It's just a question of waiting.

For reference, your iTunes Store page is at

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/laughs-by-prescription/id597890256?mt=2

Your latest two episodes are still not showing in the Store page: all four appear when subscribing and can be downloaded, so I'm not sure which file you are talking about. Can you specify more exactly what the issue is? A screenshot might help.
