Mac OS X (10.5.8)
No, the Install Disc for 10.5.x is 6.2 GB by itself.
And if you're talking 10.5.8, do you mean backup your whole install?
On Finde, do a Get Info on Machintosh HD, that should say how big that is.
Yes, BDAqua, I'm talking about backing up my whole install.
Should I use a DVD-9 8.54 GB DVD+R DL or
DVD-10 8.75 GB DVD+R SL?
I just want to make a backup copy of Leopard.
Thank you for all your assistance, BDAqua!! It really helped.
Angel, have we really solved it yet... seems we may not have, since just a backup of Leopard isn't quite clear here. 🙂
Ask the OP if she has an external hard drive or a USB flash drive.. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to make an EXACT clone backup of Leopard.
I'm going to just copy the Leopard Install Discs of 6.2 GB. Thanks, BDAqua!! And, romko23, thanks for your imput!
Great, good idea! 🙂
I have "Toast 9.0.4 Basic;" should I use it to make a copy of Leopard Install Disc of 6.2 GB?
I would, Toast is very good about such things.
Thanks for your support, BDAqua!! I will certainly use Toast!!🙂
