Is anyone else having trouble with the speed of their MacBook Pro after installing the update for Mountain Lion? My computer keeps crashing and running really slow. I have plenty of RAM and disc space so I don't know what the problem is.

I would suggest repairing disk permissions on your hard drive. To do this go to Finder> Applications> Utilities> Disk Utility. Once the app is open, go to the First Aid tab, then in the sidebar click the Macintosh HD (or the name of the partition where Mountain Lion is installed). You should see a button that says "Repair Permissions", let the process finish. Close Disk Utility and reboot your Mac, see if that fixes some of the overall sliggishness of the OS.
