screen image is stuck on large expanded view. how do I get back to normal size?

iphone 5 with updated ios. When using a painting app, screen image went super large. Now even out of app, screen image is stuck on super large zoom. Please how do I get it back to normal?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.2, New phone
