I'm part time student and full time software engineer developing proprietary software. Recently I've placed an order for macbook air through education store. I've came across this statement

"By clicking on this check box, I represent that I have read and accepted the terms and conditions and that I am a member of one of the defined groups, eligible to purchase and that the products being purchased direct from Apple are for the personal, education, and/or research use."

The macbook air will be used mainly for my work. Will I be violating any of the education store agreement?

This is a very good question.  However, we are Apple users who generally answer technical questions.

Here's what I suggest:  Contact Apple Store support and ask them.  If you're in the U.S., you can do this by telephoning 1-800-MY-APPLE.

It's really nice to see you're trying to do the right thing
