iCloud didn't restore all of my notes!

Some transferred to my mum's iPod through iCloud when I foolishly signed in with mine, and I deleted them, having NO idea they completely moved over from my phone... Is there any way to get them back? Please help, a couple of them are a parts to my really long story! :'(

If you deleted them, and you have no Time Machine backup from before you did that, then they are deleted....

Time Machine is only a factor if the notes are synced to a Mac or the device is synced/backed up to a Mac.

Since no computer was mentioned, I really do not understand why Time Machine was even brought up. It simply is not relevant.

Thanks diesel vdub,

You are correct that my response was lacking a segue, but bottom line, the only way to retrieve deleted notes is via a Time Machine backup. A sync is not necessary if iCloud is being used (as the poster indicated it was). I was simply pointing out that a backup would be the only way to retrieve deteted notes.....i.e., you cannot "restore" them from iCloud....

Thanks for all your responses. I wanted to see if there was any possible way to retrieve the story as I'd left it before deleting it off my mum's iPod. Thankfully I had a backup on my computer from the fourth that enabled me to retrieve everything. I really only lost about 3,000 words, but that's better than the entire thing. :)

I now use a writing app, and I've stored the most important notes under iCloud, which I wonder why I hadn't down that before, haha.

Thanks again!
