Finder asking for Password

Hello All,

I'm having an issue, when I'm moving a file or renaming that file, I would have to put in my password. It just started happening recently and I'm not sure why. Last week it wasn't like this. I'm still new to OSX. Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently on OSX 10.8.2

Reboot the system with the Command-R keys both held down to get to the recovery HD partition.
Choose "Terminal" from the Utilities menu
Type "resetpassword" and press Enter
In the utility that opens, choose your username and then click the "Reset" button in the "Reset home directory permissions and ACLs"
Reboot the system and see if the problem continues.

I've tried this method, and I'm still getting pop up asking for a password if I was trying to move a file.
