Accessing my Sharepoint from Windows LAN

I have several Windows 7 users who can connect to my OSXSever sharepoint by mapping a drive on their machines, but one who has a Home Network cannot.

At this point I am not using VPN because I am only testing, but I will eventually do so.

So ignoring VPN at present, how can we get him to connect to the shared drive on my server?

Share with Windows Clients is ticked

Share with iOS is ticked

Make available for home directories over SMB is enabled

I have asked the users to map a network drive on Win 7 as \\myserver\sharefolder\

Those with stand alone machines can connect, the one with a home network cannot
