Is anyone else having trouble getting Passbook to work?

I am still using a 3GS iphone and IOS 6.1 went in with no problem. I am having one problem though. Passbook does not work properly. I am able to access the Apple store with available passbook links> I click on one to install and it shows up on my Iphone as an app and not in passbook. Anyone else facing this problem?

Apps don't show up in Passbook book, passes do. The apps in the featured Apps for Passbook room all have some way to add passes to Passbook, but the apps themselves don't show up in Passbook. Try visiting coupons.com on your iPhone to add some quick passes to Passbook.
