Apple dos not say here:

http://www.apple.com/product-red/

However this site

says

How much is that exactly? Upon further investigation (RED)’s website states that it costs $0.40 to provide one day's worth of medication. Factoring these numbers, Apple donates at least $8.40 from the purchase of each iPod Nano Product (RED) to the Global Fund to fight AIDS. While Apple may charge $129 for the base 8GB model, it costs Apple $43.73 to manufacture. Not taking into account transportation, packaging, or marketing costs, that’s $85.27 in Apple’s pocket for every iPod Nano sold. If you factor in (PRODUCT) RED campaign Apple only makes a profit of $76.87.
