Mac OS X v10.6 keeps freezing since java update 12.
Since I did the update the computer has been freezing.I can't identify a common theme for each time it freezes. The screen has also turned white with a folder and ? flashing.
Start with http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1440. AFAIK, there's no correlation between installing the Java update and your issues, which appear to be a hosed OS. Alternatively, boot from your bootable backup/clone.
