Why will iTunes playlist not play tracks in order ?
Why will ITunes playlist not play the tracks in order. They seem to skip tracks randomly.

Unchecked or missing tracks will be skipped.

Thanks, but all tracks are checked and it still keeps at random
I neglected to mention shuffle mode first time around but that could be another explanation... Is this all heppening within iTunes? In iTunes the non-shuffle order should be that shown on the screen, which may different from the "play order" that is copied to the device. To see the play order of a playlist select the heading of the first column of numbers at the left hand side.
