why is vodafone recommending not to download iOS6.1?
Vodafone has set me a text to recomend not downloading iOS 6.1 until apple has fixed 3G performace issues , what is this about ?

Why don't you ask Vodafone or try a google search.

Because Apple is fudge the 3G reception. All data download is slow and extensive drop outs. I wish our carriers all provided us with that update.
