Q: My iTunes does not recognize my iPhone; no sync info on left side of my itunescreen

iTunes does not recognize my iPhone in windows 7. The sync info no longer populates on the left. When I plug iPhone, iTunes does not lunch, instead I get an 'autoplay' box

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1
