how to sort the album by date and inteligence ;-) ????

how to sort the album by date ? i find 🙂
With intligence : the last add on top and oldest at the bottom, i don't find 😠
Apple, you listen musics ? you use iTunes to listen music ???If you have more than 500 albums, when I launch itunes always Albums from 50 to 60 years of first (I almost never listen) must désendre very bottom of the list to view the latest album I want to listen!

In Albums view, turn on the top bar menu using CTRL+B.

Then, use View/View Options:

Next, choose Sort by Year;

I want change the sense of sort ....! no option for change the sens

when I open itunes ....
Top: new album
bottom: the old albums

No option exist, for sort by date added

No, there is no option to display "album by year", but this Songs view may help:

As you can see, it does group all the songs on one album together. Clicking on the Date Added column that I have showing will arrange the songs in date added to iTunes order. Would that help you?

But the french is boring ! I want diplay type "album cover "

I wait the itunes 12 ... if the developers listen music and use itunes

or more simple use Windows media player !

Sylvestre72, I think I want the same thing as you.

In iTunes, when in the "Artists" view, which then displays that artist's albums, I want the albums displayed with the newest on top going towards the oldest on the bottom. Currently, Apple ONLY sorts by the oldest first to the latest last.

I would much rather have the latest music, which is often the music I am now listening to (like the new Avett Brothers album), on the top.

If anyone knows any way around this, let me know!!!
