Q: Apple TV displaying menu text when playing movies

Please help. My Apple TV is still displaying all the text from the menu when I try and watch a movie from my MacBook. I have version 5.2 software on Mountain Lion. Since the update its just been weird. Any ideas welcomed. Cheers, Johnny
