Aperture Crashes when exporting Masters..

I would appreciate any help on this one.

I'm trying to export my entire library of Masters (84,172) for backup purposes.

From my photos library, I selected "All" photos. I then selected Export>Originals... Aperture then starts collecting info regarding the photos selected and gives the following message...

User uploaded file

I have approximately 1,200 photos that are referenced but with their external disks destroyed. So I selected, "Export Available Originals" and selected the export originals be sent to a Lacie Big5 NAS Drive. After approximately 7,000 masters exported, Aperture crashes.

I am at a loss as to why Aperture is shutting down like this on a simple export process.

My thoughts for this failure:

1) Is it the destination drive being used?

2) Is it the 1,100 referenced photos not available to export?

3) Is it the size of the library file, 84,172?

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
