After the update, I can't find the home sharing option on itunes. Where can I find the option?

I recently updated iTunes (on a pc, if that matters) and I'm trying to connect with my brother's iTunes via the home sharing option. We were able to do this before, we are both set up and logged in, and when I log off or log on the home share icon appears, but after i type in my password and log on, it's no longer a visible option. The pull-down menu that says "music," "movies," etc. where the home share icon should be (because that's where it is when I log on) doesn't include the option. Has anybody successfully used home sharing after the latest update and if so, can you tell me how? Thanks so much 🙂
