iTunes wish list on an ipad3

Why can I add iTunes tracks to a wish list from my non apple laptop but not from an ipad3? Me confused?

On iPad the only option is to purchase an album/track yet on my laptop I can add all my fave albums to a wish list so that when I have the cash or whatever I can just go into my wish list and purchase instead of having to search again for the track. This is very frustrating given that iPad is meant to be state of the art but my crappy laptop is actually better for working in iTunes.
