Can I download any type of EBooks to my Mac computer and be able to read and print the EBook?

You can't read or print ibooks from Apple on your Mac, they can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch - Apple have so far not made a Mac (or PC) reader for them.
You should be able to read kindle ebooks from Amazon on your Mac, they have a Kindle ereader app for Macs, which should be in the Mac App Store or available from their site (Kindle for Mac) - but I don't think that you can print them.
Other ebook stores may have their ebook apps for computers.
