Aperture Faces

Hi -

I just opened an old Aperture Library in version 3.4.3 - the app closed and then I reopened it to do the library conversion, and then it started to do the "Faces" scan.

As it was scanning, I could see that it was identifying several faces in photos, but when the process completed, there were no faces to assign names to. It's now just the corkboard background with the blurb about the faces feature.

Is this an issue with Aperture 3.4.3, or is it some sort of PEBCAK error?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion, 32 gigs, 3 TB drive, 2.93 GHz i7

What happens if you select Faces in the library tab?

It is as the picture above - no faces, just the blurb.

(I realize that in the picture I attached, it is on the "Places" tab, but the same corkboard and Faces blurb shows when it is on the "Faces" tab)
