How to get the ipad to ignore headphones

I have the tip of my headphones stuck in the headphone jack.I am going to get it fixed next week. Meanwhile i still want to listen to music and watch movies butcant because of the "headphones" that are stuck.How can i make my ipad ignore the "headhones"?
