Have 8 messages in my outbox that will not send. They stay in the outbox the send folder keeps spinning and nothing is helping.
They are from different emails i have set up in mac mail that use different servers.
Restarted numerous times.
Can receive but cannot send.
Why is Mac Mail so weird ?
Latest version of OSX 10.8.2
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Mail
My mail is version 6.2
Please help
No guarantees, but try this, in order:
Mailbox > Take All Accounts Offline
Mailbox > Take All Accounts Online
Mailbox > Get All New Mail
Sometimes, it seems that Mail may lose contact with a mail server and not try to re-establish contact with it. So I'll have to perform the above to "encourage" Mail to re-check its surroundings.

I have this issue but I'm unable to help. If you have an email account with BT (as I do) they've just told me that thy're having problems today.
