replacement for iphone 5

Hello out there,

bought my iphone in singapore, but using it in indonesia.

The phone is now dead, went back to singapore (@starhub) to ask for a replacement (they decline since i don't have a receipt).

I tried taking it to the local service centre here, but they can't help me.

Anyone can give me a suggestion on what to do?

It's pretty new (bought dec 2012) but now completely useless....

Willing to pay for the replacement but no one would accept.

APPLE PEOPLE...help out here!

I've been using your products for years, and because of this I'm really thinking of switching!!!
