Q: I can't get my airplay to work.
I have a 2012 macbook pro with retina display and an apple tv3. I can get airplay with my iphone and ipad but I don't get the icon to show up on my menubar or in my system preferences
My apple tv is update, they're on the same network. Any help? I'm getting frustrated because this was half of the reason I bought apple tv in the first place.

Wow... Never mind.. I restarted my computer and it magically came up in my menu bar. I'm hoping that's all I needed to do. I hope this helps someone instead of almost driving people crazy like it did to me.
