My current email is currently in use and verified by someone else.

Did not know what category to put this under, so I put it under 'icloud.com'.

Hey, I have an Apple ID here and I've had a new email for a while, and I finally realized that you could change the email, so I did.

But when I attempted to add it to this Apple ID, it said 'This email has already been verified'.

I said "strange", as I don't recall adding it to the system, I checked my emails and found this;

User uploaded file

"Ryan Harton" is a friend of mine, and probably pranked me as he had physical access to my iPhone, which was left unlocked.

Is there any way I could have this reset? Would I need to contact Apple directly?

Please respond, ASAP. – Thanks.

Get the password from your "friend", sign into appleid.apple.com to manage the apple id. Fix the info and change the password.

If you were planning on using this email with your already established apple id, you no longer can, since it is now its own apple id. I'm not sure if switching that email to another would allow it to then be used with a different account. Doubt it.
