My MacBook Air does not see my wireless network

My iPhone and iPad Mini see the network and connect with no problem. However the MacBook Air doesn't see the network. I tried adding it manually and it still does not recognize the network. Any ideas what I can do to resolve this issue?

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
