I have just downloaded flash11 and now I cannot see any content from news site BBC or sky. Message says content blocked, download latest flash. Which is 11 and I have. Please help ???

11 is only a part of the version number, and the least important part where this is concerned. Some versions of Flash 11 contain a vulnerability that led to Apple blocking them. The latest version does not, and should work.
Where did you download Flash from? There is one, and only one, place that you should download it from:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Download it from there, then locate the .dmg file that should be in your Downloads folder (or whatever other folder you may have instructed your web browser to save downloads to). Open that file and run the installer it contains.
Quit and relaunch your browser(s) to enable Flash.

Anytime you add a "feature" to a browser you have to restart it before the new item is ready for use.
