help with saving

when i go to save a document, it automatically wants me to save it to the iCloud. I want my deafult settings to save it to my macbook- or my resent locations on my mac. help, please

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You can paste the following line into Terminal or use Mountain Tweaks to disable it.

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSDocumentSaveNewDocumentsToCloud -bool false

i downloaded Mountian Tweaks and disabled the default iCloud save location, but it's still saving to iCloud

Close all your apps, then Restart your computer and see if that changes anything.
