Q: MacBook Pro & Apple TV

have an apple TV. My MacBook Pro sees the apple TV in iTunes, but no where else. how can i see my desktop on my apple TV?

MacBook Pro, iOS 6.1

AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or newer MacBook Pro, and OS X Mountain Lion. OS X Mountain Lion is 10.8, so open  > About this Mac, and check if your OS X version is 10.8.

 

If your Mac isn't compatible, you have to use a third-party app to mirror your MacBook Pro onto the Apple TV, as AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
