Mac partition won't resize fully, help please.

READ THE DESCRIPTION!! I'm not totally stupid and if you read this part then you will realize that my problem is larger that the one outlined above

A while ago, I split my hard drive into two partitions and put windows on one of them. Then I got sick of Windows because Mac is awesome, so I deleted that partition. Afterwards, I learned that I couldn't resize my mac partition back to it's fully glory and size. Now I wish to put windows back on my hard drive, and I have also learned that I can't add partitions either. This is immensely frustrating to me and I would wish for help.

Also, another smaller, yet equally disturbing problem to me is that while I can still add and try to click the buttons to delete partitions, my computer isn't allowing me to change the partition layout, the format of my partitions, or even hit the options button. These buttons are all greyed out as seen here and I can't figure it out.

All of these problems can be visually represented here.

Thanks in advance for any help that I recieve.
