I get MANY duplicate iCal events on my iOS6 iPhone when I sync with iTunes--no iCloud setup!

I get MANY duplicate iCal events on my iOS6 iPhone when I sync with iTunes. I do not have iCloud setup to sync at all. I do not have iCloud Calendars in iCal on my Mac (10.6.8), just On My Mac. Any thoughts?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8), iPhone 5, iOS6

Try resetting your Sync Services. See here to reset your sync services.
