help!  my ipad is frozen!

    Try a reset:



    Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

    Perform a Reset...


    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )


    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.





    If no joy...


    Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...

    HAPPENS THE SAME WITH MEEEE!! Lol! Restore would solve the problem and no data will be lost? :S


    OMG, so all the data i haven't synchronized will be LOST? ohhhhh great, THANKS APPLE for giving an update without TESTING IT properly and crashing all my device!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you SUCK!

    They can test it over and over, unfortunately you can't test for every situation that can happen or is going to happen.  This is why they tell you to Sync and backup before doing the update....Anything can happen and Apple should not be blamed.  I ran the update on mine and it works fine as I'm using it to type this message right now.  I did a backup before running the update, just in case something happened so I would have all my stuff back if needed.  However I understand anything can happen it isn't a question of if, but when, this is why I backup all the time.

    Yeah, haven't rememebered to make a back up before my updates... couldn't imagine that this would ever happen to an Apple device, haven't happened in any android device of mine (but i guess it could)... but now it happens to my ipad? :'( what? after all you realize apple isn't that special anymore... is just a normal product. It doesn't happen on Android, and it happens on Apple, wow... serious stuff right there mate.

    Don't know what Android device you are talking about that you don't have to worry about.  Not saying that any Apple product is special, my phone happens to be an Android, and I have had it crash pretty hard.  Even had a time when it shut off and restarted and when it did, flashed itself....Guess what, everything gone....Again, this is when the backup came in play....it's all about WHEN it is going to happen...Nothing is full proof and never going to have problems.

    Yeah, you are right mate but FFFFFFFFFFF***********, i've lost a lot of data i guess now im recovering :'( 6 minutes to die. I'll start digging my own grave.


    I don't know yet, tho... after clicking on "Restore" said: "Would you like to make a full back up before Restoring your device?" so... maybe i'm saved! D:


    OMG Nevermind, said: "iTunes can't make the back up because your device is locked with a passcode, unlock your device and try again" ohhh nooo, stupid passcode screwed meeeeeeeeeeeeee :'( can't put the passcode coz my ipad is apple-logo crashed.

    I'm not savvay enough to to a restore...i'm afraid i will loose all my data   HELP   HELP  HELP !!!!
