My daughter's iPhone was stolen, is there any way to recover photos that were back-upped to iCloud?

Photos in the camera roll can be recovered by restoring the backup to another iOS device. If you end up replacing the phone, just choose Restore from iCloud backup when setting it up.

Camera roll photos are included in the backup. The backup includes:

• Photos and videos in the Camera Roll
• Device settings (for example: Phone Favorites, Wallpaper, and Mail, Contacts, Calendar accounts)
• App data
• Home screen and app organization
• Messages (iMessage, SMS, and MMS)
• Ringtones
• Visual Voicemails
