while on a movie project I cannot acces Itunes or Iphoto. I can see the icon Itunes but no files appear at the window>

I was working on and Imovie project. I wanted to add some music to my movie clip but then I couldnot access my Itunes files or even my phots in Iphoto. If I open Itunes separetaly they awork fine. It is just that from Imovie (11, 9.0.8) I cannot see or access any Itunes (11.0.1) or iphoto (11) files. Anybody has any idea whats goig on?
