how to access the backup of ipod touch
I recently updated the software on my 2G iPod touch. I performed a backup but none of the music will restore no matter how many times I attempt to restore it. Can anyone help?

Synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup. See:
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For other music yo will have to get it from where you obtained it before.
