Downloading SMS from Nokia S60 phone?

Hi,

has anyone figured out how to download SMS from a Series 60 Nokia phone? I have the Nokia E60 and got it to work with isync after fiddling with the .plist as described in a recent thread. However, isync does not handle SMS, or does it?

On my old 6230 (Series 40) I used PhoneDirector, which worked beautifully. From other threads I gather that there are three applications out there (BluePhoneElite, GSM Remote and Nokia Collector), but none of them offers this service for the E60 or Series 60 phones in general. Is there any other software I missed?

I'd be happy if there were at least a possibility to copy all SMS from the Inbox of the phone to some folder on the phone as text files and then transfer the files, but that seems unsupported by the phones software.

Any ideas?

Symbian handles SMS' in a different way than say Series 40 phones, as it doesn't support AT commands for SMS management.

If you have Series60v2 phone (6680, 6330, N70, ....) then you can use this:

If you have a Series60v3 phone (N80, E60, E61, E70, ...) then you will have to wait for those guys to update their software. Applications compiled for v2 will not run on v3
