I am trying to create a simple card wioth one photo. I want the whole photo but every them crops it. I have changed the proportions of the image to suit the proportions of the card. Anyone know a way around this?

I'm not really sure about what you're doing; it is something I've not done before and I don't use iPhoto. But my assumption is that the place for inserting the image is a mask. If so, click on the image you inserted and a slider should appear. Adjust the slider so the image fits completely.

I updated my old iPhoto so I could make a card. Yes, it is a mask and yes there is a slider.
The slider is on maximum and won't zoom out any further.
I found a solution though.
If I ctrl click on the image (it doesn't tell you this anywhere in the Help pages) I get more options that aren't available anywhere in the iPhoto controls and can select to make the photo fit.
