Issues upgrading to Snow Leopard and Lion

I just upgraded my computer to Snox Leopard. About this Mac says 10.6.3. I want to upgrade to Lion but can't find the App Store and nothing seems to have changed with the upgrade.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Run the Software Update pane of System Preferences.

Run the Software Update until you're up to 10.6.8, the current version of Snow Leopard. The App Store is not part of 10.6.3.
